​Hi, I'm Lauren, welcome to my site!



Lauren Lee Cake Couture is an extension of my passion for beautiful creations. My background of painting, makeup artistry and wedding planning has led me to what I love doing most - creating edible pieces of art to celebrate special occasions, specialising in the most important day of them all, your wedding day! After studying in Cape Town I am now back in my home town Pietermaritzburg servicing brides in the Pmb, Durban and Midlands area.



I approach each customer with fresh eyes. Each cake starts off as an empty canvas that will eventually develop into a delicious, edible sculpture that reflects the unique style of your wedding. I work closely with my brides-to-be and get excited (yes, every time) as the big day approaches.

I like the idea that marriages start off with something sweet, like a white chocolate mud cake (my personal favourite!) But just as each partnership varies, so too do the flavours of the cake beneath the icing.
